INDEED, A REMINDER IS BENEFICIAL FOR A BELIEVER - Food for Thought

On one particular occasion ALLAH ﷻ has drawn comparison of two groups of people in the Qur'aan Shareef (Surah Israa': 17-18) as far as the desires of humans are concerned.
The first group of people are those who desire the material world and have no desire whatsoever for the hereafter.
The second group of people are those who desire the hereafter and make an earnest effort for their success in the hereafter.
Thereafter ALLAH ﷻ also mentions the end result of this set of groups by saying that the first group will get what ALLAH ﷻ wishes to give them and however much HE ﷻ wishes to give them and whomsoever he wishes to give, thereafter the end result of this group of people will be the fire of JAHANNUM. The end result of the latter group of people (i.e. those who desire the hereafter) will be that ALLAH ﷻ will appreciate and value their efforts and they will be granted great rewards and bounties in JANNAH and in there they shall get what they want, how much they want. Oh what a great comparison!!! May ALLAH ﷻ make us from amongst them.
Hazrat Ali ﵁is reported to have said: "Indeed the world has its children and the hereafter has it's children; therefore, be from amongst the children of the latter and not of the former. (Mishkāt)[1]
We learn from the verses of the Qur'aan Shareef and the advice of Hazrat Ali ﵁ that we must opt to be from amongst those who desire the hereafter and strive to attain the treasures therein. We learn that we must understand that this world is a temporary abode and the hereafter is what matters and what we should all be concerned about. We must realize the importance of Good Deeds and what they are worth and contemplate as to which group of people we belong to.
The intelligent ones are those that ponder over the creation of ALLAH ﷻ and become fully subservient to His commands; they understand the triviality of this world and the significance of the hereafter so much so that they beseech ALLAH ﷻ from even being disgraced on the day of Qiyaamah.
In the poem attached the poet is assimilating the intelligent people who have understood the world to be a place full of trials and tribulations to those stuck in the crashing waves at sea, and the only way out safe would be in ships through this unforgiving storm. He tells us that the remedy for being saved from the trials of the world is "Good Actions" which is the greatest shortfall of the Ummah at large today.
Good Actions are many but very few get the ability to carry them out. We all know the value of one "Subhanallah" viz, a person gets a palm/date tree in JANNAH which is actually an indirect glad-tiding to attain JANNAH, but how many of us spend our time taking maximum benefit from this great deal for the hereafter?
Read, Ponder, Practice, Propagate, Strive for the better end result.
May ALLAH ﷻ make us amongst the Children of the hereafter. Aameen Yaa Rabbal Aalameen.
